IMANI WATERS
Imani Waters is a rising senior at Howard University, majoring in Media, Journalism, and Film, with a concentration in TV & Film and a minor in African Studies. Imani is inspired by Black filmmakers and is committed to bringing a range of Black experiences to cinema. She works to tell underrepresented stories and aims to inspire others to do the same.

Icon Studios is one of Atlanta’s hidden gems. Located in the city’s Berkeley Park neighborhood, the studio has been the launching pad for the careers of Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber and producer Drumma Boy.
GO AFRICA HARLEM FESTIVAL 2018
African dance, art, music and fashion invades the city at the 2018 Go Africa Harlem Festival next month. The event will take place July 14 on 116th Street, between Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
