Bertney Harlan is a second-year student studying advertising and business administration at Howard University. Bertney can be described as a natural-born leader with substantial strength. She describes herself as a creative with an eye for art and storytelling that makes people feel seen and understood. Every day she strives to be better than she was yesterday and hopes to inspire others to do the same. Tatyana Hopkins recently graduated from Howard University with a degree in journalism. Originally from Bridgeport, Connecticut, the journalism major developed a passion for telling news story, while still in middle school, after a documentary project at summer camp. With an interest in research and storytelling, journalism became an obvious career choice.
